As soon as they're in the bar and the door is closed, Sherral gives Jay a nudge with his hand.

"Lead the way."

Sherral grins at him. "I've taken worse."

Jay cocks an eyebrow. "If I didn't know better, I'd take that as a challenge." Not one he could rise to just yet but...

"As though I'd let you win a second time," Sherral says wryly.

[runningred]

Jay laughs and pulls Sherral into a slow, sweet kiss. "Win or lose, I like the sound of that."

"I thought you might," Sherral grins.

[runningred]

"Shall we snooze first or are you ready for a re-match right away?"

[fluffiest_archadian]

"It might be wise to rest first," Sherral chuckles.

[runningred]

Jay chuckles and nods, "Hasn't exactly been an easy trip and I don't you've had much sleep since we left base." Not that either of them has. "Shower first?"

[fluffiest_archadian]

"We should, aye," Sherral says agreeably, giving Jay a quick peck on the jaw and hauling himself out of bed.

Jay grabs them some fresh towels and robes. His shower is... well, magnificent. More than big enough for two with jets in the walls and the roof, all adjustable and controllable for temperature and pressure. He got a bit carried away...

"... Bar appears to have given you a small temple to washing," Sherral remarks wryly when he sees it.

[runningred]

"Um yeah." Jay turns in on and steps under the spray. "I ah... asked for something a bit bigger and I think she got carried away."

[fluffiest_archadian]

Sherral looks more amused than anything, stepping under the spray and ducking his head slightly.

"Well, there's naught wrong with a little luxury."

[runningred]

Jay laughs as he soaps himself up, still as unselfconscious as ever. "I seem to have skipped a little and gone straight to a lot! Not that I mind. Comes in handy when I have company."

"You could probably comfortably fit four people in here, let alone two," Sherral murmurs, looking around.

[runningred]

"Must admit, I've never tried it with more than two but I guess..." The thought is interesting. "Not that I think I could handle more than you tonight." The bruises over his back and shoulders are tender and perfect.

Sherral laughs, ruffling his hair, before picking up some soap. "Aye, some of those bruises look nasty."

"My own fault for sharing my bed with a solider." Jay laughs, ruffling Sherral's hair in return. "And for going on crazy ass adventures with one."

[fluffiest_archadian]

Sherral chuckles, leaning against Jay a little. "It's good that you did. You were, er - very handy."

[runningred]

"Handy? Ha!" Jay laughs playfully, running a soapy hand over Sherral's shoulder. "I doubt either of us could have taken that dragon alone."

[fluffiest_archadian]

"The dragon did present a problem, aye," Sherral agrees.

[runningred]

"The horse things weren't exactly easy either but singing to a giant ball of light has to be one of my highlights. The zombies, not so much." He muses, his soapy hands somehow finding their way onto Sherral. "Was a hell of an adventure. Thanks for inviting me along."

"It's no problem," Sherral says lightly, curling an arm around him. "I'm glad you were there."
