The ambassador is, at the moment Moist approaches, berating the chief of his guards for nearly causing a scene. There are a lot of words in another language being thrown about, but from inflection alone it's clear that the threat to have a much wanted bodily part removed and fed to livestock is prominent, and appears many times.

"Go now, engaƱar," the ambassador says. "Pay your respects to the bride and groom. Apologise deeply for any disturbance."

As said guard strides off, the ambassador apparently clocks Moist, and greets him by clapping him on both hands with his shoulders. "Good sir! I am terribly sorry you had to hear that. My soldiers are always causing trouble, it is disgraceful."
